TDG CLAMPING SOLUTIONS SECURES STRATEGIC ORDER FOR THE RAILWAY SECTOR

22 January, 2026
TDG Clamping Solutions, a leading company in clamping solutions and industrial fastening systems, has secured a major order worth close to one million euros, with delivery scheduled for the first half of 2026.

The project is for the Chinese railway sector through a prominent Asian manufacturer of vertical lathes, a regular collaborator of TDG, whose name cannot be disclosed for reasons of commercial confidentiality.

The order consists of the design and manufacture of 10 high-capacity automatic chucks, with a diameter of 1600 mm, specially developed for turning railway wheels, and with a jaw travel of 110 mm, specially designed for the end customer's full range of wheel sizes.

These plates incorporate advanced technical solutions that improve precision, safety and efficiency in the machining processes of large railway components.

‘This order consolidates our presence in the global railway market and confirms the confidence that leading machinery manufacturers place in our engineering and production capabilities,’ said TDG Clamping Solutions management.

This is not the first time that TDG has secured orders in China within this same sector, but it is the largest in terms of volume and undoubtedly confirms TDG's good name and position as a benchmark for quality in the railway sector.

With this order, the company continues to expand its activity in strategic sectors with high added value and strengthen its commitment to innovation and technological development, taking giant steps forward as part of its 2025-2027 strategic plan.
