15 December, 2025More than 1,000 exhibiting companies have already confirmed their participation in the 33rd edition of BIEMH – International Machine Tool Biennial, which will be held from 2 to 6 March 2026 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre. Three months before it takes place, the fair will once again position itself as one of the leading international events in advanced manufacturing, kicking off the global trade fair calendar for the sector.
The confirmed companies cover a broad spectrum of the industrial ecosystem, from machine tools and automation to software, metrology and advanced production services. The high number of participants reinforces BIEMH's role as a strategic meeting point for the manufacturing industry and as a showcase for the presentation of new technological solutions.
The product will be one of the central themes of BIEMH 2026, with a wide range of machinery on display, including large-format solutions operating on the stands themselves. To facilitate this display, the organisers have launched a specific programme to support the exhibition of machines, reinforcing one of the main distinguishing features of the fair.
The event will also feature a specific area dedicated to automation, robotics and digitalisation, key areas for improving industrial efficiency and competitiveness. In addition, it will have a strong international presence, with promotional activities in around 150 countries and a VIP programme aimed at attracting high-profile professional buyers.
BIEMH 2026 is organised by AFM, Machine Tool Manufacturers; AIMHE, Machine Tools Importers and Bilbao Exhibition Centre, with SPRI – Basque Government as Institutional Partner.
