LANTEK TO ESTABLISH A NEW TECHNOLOGICAL CAMPUS AT BILBAO’S ZORROTZAURRE INNOVATION HUB

Lantek, a multinational provider of software and advanced manufacturing solutions for the metal industry, has signed a framework agreement with the Basque Technology Park and its new urban campus in Zorrotzaurre, Bilbao. Through this initiative, the company will develop the Lantek BNEST Technological Campus, a dedicated facility located in the RZ-9 plot within what is set to become one of the Basque Country’s leading innovation hubs.

The new campus will comprise more than 6,000 m² and will foster an open, multivendor ecosystem bringing together machine tool manufacturers, OEMs, technology centers, and companies specializing in software, cloud computing and artificial intelligence. The aim is to accelerate the digital transformation of the industrial sector.

Designed as a space for experimentation, training and collaboration, the campus will feature smart machines, living labs and advanced digital environments. The project also reinforces Lantek’s commitment to attracting talent, driving innovation and supporting the development of intelligent, sustainable manufacturing on a global scale.
