LAIP PROMOTES ITS GROWTH STRATEGY AT BIEMH WITH ITS NEW RANGE OF HPTC HIGH-TIGHTENING COLLET CHUCKS

LAIP will participate in the upcoming BIEMH, reaffirming its commitment to excellence under its slogan ‘Passion for Precision’. Founded in 1957 and specialising in the manufacture of tool holders and precision parts for machine tools, the company continues to advance to consolidate its position as an international benchmark in sectors such as aeronautics, automotive and industry in general.

Following the appointment of its new manager, Iñigo Unzaga, LAIP has developed a Strategic Reflection process during 2025 that has culminated in the 2026-2027 Strategic Plan. Among its main new features is the HPTC (High Precision Torque Chuck) range of high-torque collet chucks, available in capacities from 12 to 50 mm and in HSK-A63, HSK-A100, BT-40, DIN-40 and POLYGONAL LC6 taper sizes.

The HPTC system offers precision of less than 0.005 mm of runout, high clamping torque and balancing up to G2.5 at 35,000 rpm. It also incorporates a small smooth nut that improves balancing, reduces noise and optimises chip evacuation in demanding machining operations.
