The group exports 95 percent of its turnover and Germany is one of its main markets with 15 percent of sales. "It is true that some customers are delaying their purchases," acknowledged the manager, "but, in general, the year is working well." The Maher Holding group includes six companies under its emblem: Lagun Machinery, GMTK, Addilan and Atera, to which Geminis, Lagun Machine Tools and Mekalerun joined after the disappearance of Goratu. "This is a fair for manufacturers and distributors," said Jorge Arriola. Although Geminis participated in the AMB together with Zayer, under the umbrella of its distributor in Germany, Iberimex; Lagun and GMTK did it under the name of JMT Juaristi. Its distributor in Germany received two orders at the Lagun Machinery fair: a three-axis L 00 machining center for the new German client Block Optic, a manufacturer of tables for the dental sector; and a 5-axis CNC for the German machinist Bruno Becker.
