09 February, 2026Zucchetti Spain is entering a new phase in its trajectory with the appointment of Jaime Rodríguez as the company’s new Managing Director. With this move, the business software manufacturer strengthens its growth strategy in a market undergoing profound transformation, focusing on the future, innovation, new technologies, and digitalization. Jaime Rodríguez succeeds Justino Martínez, an Industrial Engineer and co-founder of Solmicro, who has led the company through a key stage of consolidation.
This appointment comes after more than three decades of expansion and consolidation of Zucchetti Spain in the enterprise software market. Since the acquisition of Solmicro by the Zucchetti Group in 2016, the company has experienced sustained growth both financially and strategically, increasing its annual turnover from €3.6 million to €24.5 million and consolidating its position as a leading provider of ERP and human resources solutions.
The company’s evolution has also been supported by a strong commitment to employment and the development of its partner ecosystem. During this period, the workforce has grown from 50 to more than 300 professionals, and the distribution channel has expanded to include 300 certified professionals nationwide. At the same time, Zucchetti Spain has strengthened its solutions portfolio through the acquisition of seven software-specialized companies, increasing its market share and broadening its value proposition for companies across different sectors.
Jaime Rodríguez, a historic co-founder of Solmicro and a professional with more than thirty years of experience in the IT sector, has held various executive roles related to projects, sales, channel management, and product development, and in recent years has led the Human Resources Software Division at Zucchetti Spain. His career path and strategic vision are expected to be key drivers of the company’s next phase of growth, in an environment where technological innovation will shape the future of the business landscape.
