TDG PRESENTS CUSTOMISED AXIAL INTERNAL CLAMPING TOOLS FOR THE AERONAUTICAL SECTOR AT 33BIEMH

TDG will present at 33BIEMH a customised axial internal clamping tool developed for special parts in the aeronautical sector. It is a 1,250 mm diameter solution designed to clamp a wide range of parts of different sizes with maximum precision.

The system incorporates six special claws for internal axial clamping, with a specific design that prevents deformation of the part. It also includes six additional supports designed to prevent marks or stress during clamping.

The tooling is specially designed for off-machine centring of the part, significantly reducing process times and improving operational efficiency. Thanks to this solution, the customer has replaced nine conventional tools with a single one, optimising space and simplifying plant operations.
