MAHER HOLDING CELEBRATES THE INTEGRATION OF GEMINIS LATHES INTO THE INZU GROUP AND REINFORCES ITS COMMITMENT TO INDUSTRIAL GROWTH

26 June, 2026
MAHER HOLDING has completed the integration of GEMINIS LATHES and MEKALERUN into INZU Group, marking one of the most significant milestones in its industrial history. The transaction represents a major financial and strategic strengthening of the group and opens a new chapter focused on growth through its two core brands: INTERMAHER·MAZAK and LAGUN.

Over recent years, GEMINIS LATHES has established itself as a global leader in large horizontal turning and heavy-duty multiprocess machining. Its integration into INZU Group—an internationally focused, Basque-owned industrial group fully aligned with the Basque Country's industrial development policies—ensures the continuity and international expansion of the business while preserving highly skilled employment, technological expertise and industrial capabilities in the region.

The transaction significantly reinforces MAHER HOLDING's financial position, providing the capital base required to support its long-term growth strategy. With a workforce of nearly 100 professionals and annual revenues of around €45 million, the group will now focus on the development of its two strategic businesses.

INTERMAHER·MAZAK is Spain's leading distributor of Mazak machine tools, combining world-class manufacturing technology with advanced services in process optimization and industrial automation. Following the appointment of a new Managing Director, the company is strengthening its customer-focused service offering.

LAGUN, a historic manufacturer of milling machines and machining centres with production facilities in Álava and Gipuzkoa, will continue to build on its reputation for flexibility, proximity and tailor-made solutions, further reinforcing its commercial presence.

Both companies operate from the Basque Country and share MAHER HOLDING's long-standing commitment to strengthening the regional industrial ecosystem through technology, skilled employment and close customer support.
