On 25 February, the ICEX headquarters in Madrid will host the second edition of the Industry Summit, an event organised by AFM Cluster that seeks to consolidate itself as the benchmark forum for leaders, experts and professionals in the industrial sector. After the success of the first edition, which brought together more than 130 attendees, this new event is presented as a strategic space to address the challenges that will mark the future of advanced industry.
The conference will be dedicated to exploring innovative solutions and strategies applied to industrial transformation, with a special focus on digitalisation, artificial intelligence, disruptive technologies in machining, artificial vision and innovation in production processes. In addition, the future of mobility in strategic sectors such as the automotive and aeronautics industries will be analysed, highlighting how these industries are leading the transition towards new forms of sustainability and competitiveness.
The programme includes specialised presentations, round tables and the presentation of success stories, where leading companies will share their achievements and experiences in the implementation of advanced technologies. These sessions are designed to inspire attendees, provide them with practical tools and generate an enriching debate on the opportunities and challenges facing the sector. The combination of high-value content with dedicated networking spaces makes the Industry Summit 2025 a unique event for the industry.
In this second edition of the Industry Summit, the day will begin with a talk by Norberto López de Lacalle, director of the CFAA (Centre for Advanced Aeronautical Manufacturing), who will share his vision of the factory of the future and will moderate a panel discussion with Virgilio García (NOVAINDEF), Arrate Olaiz (IBARMIA) and Laura Francos (SMARTPM). This will be followed by a block focused on the enablers of the factory of the future, with the participation of companies such as SIEMENS, DGH, IZADI, NUAVIS, MAQUINSER and SAVVY, which will present key innovations for the sector. To close, the session ‘The Reality of Strategic Sectors’ will feature NIDEC ARISA, and its vision of the challenges in the automotive sector, and MTORRES, who will focus on the aeronautics sector.
The event is designed to attract a diverse audience, including large advanced manufacturing companies, machinery manufacturers, machinists, technology start-ups, innovative solution providers, research centres and diverse industrial SMEs interested in discovering new strategies that will allow them to compete in a global market. In addition, the format is designed to facilitate networking among participants, fostering collaborations that can be translated into concrete, high-impact projects.
