IMH TO HOLD ONLINE CONFERENCE ON REAL SOLUTIONS TO INDUSTRY 4.0

06 May, 2021

The IMH has organised an online conference entitled “How to contribute real solutions to the challenges of Industry 4.0” to be held on 20 May next with the aim of offering keys to address the challenges of Industry 4.0. The conference primarily aims to analyse what types of projects and technologies are currently being carried out within the broad paradigm of Industry 4.0. Within this context, the conference will feature participants such as Fagor Automation, Inmersia or Vicomtech, showcasing the projects led by the students of the IMH Digital Manufacturing Masters.

As part of AFM CLUSTER, the IMH is a benchmark educational campus for advanced and digital manufacturing, technological and geographical growth, with flexible, client-focused organisation, that works in collaboration with local and international strategic alliances.

It is a public Integrated Professional Training Centre run by the Basque Government and, as such, belongs to Ikaslan Gipuzkoa, a network of public occupational training centres in this region. Furthermore, the IMH dual engineering college has been an associated centre of the University of the Basque Country (Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU)) since 2011.

IMH contributes to producing qualified professionals (from occupational training to university courses, degrees and masters) in demand among the companies in the sector. This is a sector of knowledge and skill that calls for highly qualified personnel.
