COMETEL PRESENTS AT EMO 2023 ITS NEW DIGITAL TOOL TO CALCULATE THE SAVINGS OF BECOMING MORE CIRCULAR

The company, leader in turnkey solutions for the transport, treatment, and intelligent revalorization of metallic swarf, has launched a ROI calculator that allows to quantify the economic savings provided by a Cometel installation. Cometel´s goal is to support customers becoming more circular, sustainable, and profitable with a nearly 100% productive availability.

This new digital tool is intuitive and user-friendly. Users only need to enter key data such as the type of coolant and its consumption, material, the amount of swarf they produce and the working hours. With this information, the tool provides the annual economic savings in euros and the ideal layout for each specific case.

There are metals that have exceptional circular properties and can be recycled in a closed loop without a loss of quality or significant need for primary resources during recycling. Aluminum is one of these materials.

Cometel has just installed a complete metal chip treatment solution for a multinational client that manufactures automotive components. They produce a large amount of aluminum swarf in their machining processes and these metal chips were not treated correctly. Due to it, the company was losing competitiveness selling the swarf and incurring higher costs acquiring raw materials. Cometel carried out a thorough study about the revaluation of their aluminum chips, which would be used again in their casting processes, closing the loop. This is a clear example of a circular economy that simultaneously allows the client becoming much more efficient and profitable.
