CEVISA LAUNCHES THE WORLD·S LARGEST PORTABLE BEVELLING MACHINE FOR THE SHIPBUILDING, WIND ENERGY AND POWER SECTORS

Cevisa, a manufacturer of industrial bevelling machines for weld edge preparation, has strengthened its international position with the launch of the CHP-100G, the world's largest portable bevelling machine. The new equipment addresses the growing productivity and capacity demands of industries such as shipbuilding, wind energy, offshore and nuclear power, enabling bevels of up to 100 mm in length and machining angles greater than 80 degrees.

The new machine, currently undergoing trials at a shipbuilding customer, stands out for its high power output, which significantly reduces production times. According to the company, the development reflects the industry's shift towards higher value-added solutions to remain competitive against Asian manufacturers.

With customers in more than 60 countries and 80% of its production exported worldwide, Cevisa continues to expand its product range while advancing the automation and customization of its equipment to meet the specific requirements of customers across a wide range of industrial sectors.
