CECIMO EXTENDS THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE FOR THE MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES INNOVATION (MTI) AWARDS 2026

CECIMO has announced an extension of the submission deadline for the Manufacturing Technologies Innovation (MTI) Awards 2026, giving organisations additional time to prepare and submit their most innovative projects. The new application deadline is 16 September 2026.

The awards recognise outstanding achievements in manufacturing technologies and aim to highlight solutions that strengthen the competitiveness of the European manufacturing industry through innovation, sustainability and digital transformation.

The 2026 edition features three award categories: the MTI Award – Best Overall Innovation, recognising projects that demonstrate excellence in functionality, performance, originality and contribution to European manufacturing; the Green Impact Award, honouring innovations that reduce CO₂ emissions, minimise material waste and deliver long-term environmental benefits; and the Innovative Start-up Award, dedicated to emerging companies developing pioneering solutions for advanced manufacturing.

As an additional incentive, the winner of the Innovative Start-up Award will receive a complimentary exhibition stand at EMO Milano 2027, providing a valuable opportunity to increase international visibility and connect with potential customers, partners and investors.

CECIMO encourages all eligible organisations to take advantage of the extended deadline and submit their applications, particularly those developing innovations in sustainability, digitalisation, advanced manufacturing technologies or operational excellence.
