AFM CLUSTER IS STRENGTHENING ITS INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE AT CCMT 2026 THROUGH THE PARTICIPATION OF ITS MEMBER COMPANIES

Last week, AFM Cluster attended CCMT 2026, held in Shanghai, one of the leading international trade fairs for the machine tool and advanced manufacturing industries. The event brought together 2,030 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, across an exhibition area of 200,000 m², with representation from 30 countries and the participation of over 125,000 visitors, of whom more than 95,000 were industry professionals.

During the fair, the managing director of AFM Cluster, Xabier Ortueta, took part in the opening ceremony, highlighting the role of companies within the AFM ecosystem in the global context and the importance of driving innovation, industrial collaboration and the sector’s international reach.

The cluster’s participation was completed through its member companies BOST, CORREA, DANOBAT, EMENA, FAGOR AUTOMATION, GEMINIS LATHES, GURUTZPE, IBARMIA, KORTA, MADAULA, MYL, SHUTON IPIRANGA, ZAYER and ZUAZO, which showcased their capabilities in machining, automation and advanced manufacturing solutions.

CCMT is thus establishing itself as a strategic platform for the exchange of knowledge, the generation of business opportunities and the strengthening of relationships with key international industrial players.
