GEINSA IS SUPPLYING A PAINTING LINE FOR FERRAND, THE FRENCH MANUFACTURER OF WINE PRODUCTION MACHINERY

With nearly 50 years of experience, Ferrand specialises in the design and manufacture of machinery for the wine sector. FERRAND has made significant investments to improve its products and their quality, such as implementing a new surface treatment and painting line. This is the second installation carried out by GEINSA for this manufacturer.

The project includes a surface treatment and painting line consisting of a six-stage treatment tunnel, a moisture drying oven, an initial powder paint booth for priming, a second powder paint booth for rapid colour changes and two paint polymerization ovens. The parts are transported by an overhead conveyor equipped with four loading and unloading elevators. The line is completed with a liquid paint booth.

The GEINSA treatment tunnel is equipped with a plate heat exchanger water heating system, an osmosis water production system and an oil separator for bath maintenance.

The installation includes a system for real-time communication between the various control components. The remote assistance system enables faster service control resolution of queries and potential improvements, while optimising the line’s predictive maintenance.
