THR 16 MULTIPROCESS: UNLIMITED FLEXIBILITY

23 May, 2018

ROBUSTNESS, DYNAMICS AND MULTIFUNCTIONS IN A SINGLE MACHINE

At this edition of the BIEMH trade show, IBARMIA will display its THR 16 Multiprocess machining centre, an ideal solution for customers that work for industries with high precision requirements, since it combines various technologies, such as milling, drilling, turning, gear cutting and even rectifying in a single machine. This avoids the need to move parts between machines and working through multiple stages.

The MULTIPROCESS process is increasingly popular in the market due to its impact on productivity and the wide range of parts that can be machined with a single investment. It fits perfectly into the global trend to reduce both the manufacture of part batches and product life cycles. As an example, prestigious companies in the aerospace industry are already using this machining centre model, designed to work with the most resistant materials.

This 5-axes machining centre can mill and/or turn parts with up to Ø 1600 mm and 6 Tonnes and machine at negative angles, thanks to the -45º/+135º travel range of its A axis. It is equipped with a variety of tool magazines capable of storing robust HSK A-100 tools and a rotary table capable of up to 500 rpm. All this features allow for a combination of power, high capacity, high precision and stable thermal properties. The BIEMH 30 event will be the perfect scenario to grasp the multiple advantages of this machine and become familiar with its new intelligent functions, aimed at making operations easier and more profitable.
