Due to the complex shapes and heavy weight of the propellers it is necessary a safe and effective cutting system for the reutilization of feeders. It avoids a higher cost for the amount of operations that a working team can develop, reduces long cutting times of workers with manual abrasive wheels or discs, and avoids the difficulty and risk in the mooring of the pieces and their movement while cutting large pieces occurs.

To solve all this, Pegamo Steel Solutions has developed a special saw to cut sprue wastes with automatically controlled arms that fit according to the contour of the part. This enables a fast, clean and simple cut. The placement of the material is quick and easy and the saw is designed for both complete propellers up to 6 meters in diameter, and the entire range of products that make these: blades, cores, caps, etc.
