LANTEK PARTICIPATED IN THE 5TH EDITION OF BASQUE INDUSTRY 4.0, A SUCCESS STORY IN THE FACTORY OF THE FUTURE

Lantek participated in the 5th edition of Basque Industry 4.0, a success story in the factory of the future. In its commitment to helping the industrial sector become more competitive, Lantek was present at the 5th edition of Basque Industry 4.0, organised by the Department of Economic Development of the Basque Government, through the SPRI Group. In this congress, Lantek showed its latest solutions for promoting advances that contribute to improving the productivity and simplification of industrial processes.

The event was held on 26 November at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao and aimed to analyse and raise awareness of the challenges and opportunities associated with the fourth industrial revolution. In this sense, Lantek explained their experience as a success case in the application of the Industry 4.0 concept in the metal sector, and looked back over its 30 years of experience in the development of software for industrial facilities, in which it already has more than 21,000 customers around the world.

Thanks to its know-how and the process of digital transformation addressed by the company, Lantek has positioned itself as a visionary company in its sector, revolutionizing the development of advanced manufacturing solutions to equip industrial plants with business intelligence.

Lantek participated in the section of round-table discussions and conferences dedicated to "Sectoral applications for Industry 4.0", where it was part of a panel of experts moderated by Tomás Iriondo, Managing Director of Gaia. Juan José Colás spoke about Lantek's experience and how it has become a benchmark for the metal and sheet metal transformation industry on an international scale. He also explained how the company is committed to innovation to develop sectoral ad-hoc applications that encourage smart and dynamic use of information for better decision making and integration of production processes.
