APPLICATIONS: POWERTRAIN | TECHNOLOGY: MACHINING | The high performance Machining Centre is fully flexible for several families of crankshafts. Machining module provided with three CNC operated axes (X-Y-Z) driven by servo motors and three motorized spindles which can reach 10.000 rpm. Indexing table with 360,000 indexes driven by servo motor (B axis). Hydraulic clamping fixture mounted on the indexing table for two parts. Indexing for the Crankshaft rotation driven by servo motor (A axis) integrated in the clamping fixture. MQL Machining. Automatic tool change and Magazine with capacity for 24 tools, outside of the machining area. Light on the tool magazine area. The parts are clamped during the entire machining operations. Part automation / handling arrangements at the Machine input / output as option. Even though three parts per cycle are machined, one single part per cycle might also be machined, depending on the momentary production requirements.

APPLICATIONS: POWERTRAIN | TECHNOLOGY: MACHINING | The parts are manipulated by lift and carry “walking beam” conveyors. A pneumatically driven part stripper is located at the end of the “walking beam”. With a 1-axis linear CNC YAMAHA FLIP type manipulator for connecting rod positioning from the walking beam to the robot lift position. The part manipulator verifies the part type and the part orientation. With a 6 axis CNC robot equipped with two grippers, each one for six connecting rods. A 1-axis linear CNC manipulator for connecting rod unloading from bushing press unit and either rejecting parts or loading to the unload conveyor. It includes a bad parts rejection ramp.
