TALGO has been awarded this OSALAN PRIZE for standing out in terms of occupational health and safety by promoting values and knowledge about risk prevention in the field of occupational health, safety and hygiene among its workers, as with the change in social attitude companies now have the obligation to foster a culture of prevention. TALGO, a pioneering company in the development of high technology in railway transport, is aware that occupational safety is not an option but an obligation and has therefore now become a pioneering force in applying occupational safety in all its factories.
The award was presented by the Basque Government’s Deputy Minister of Work, Carlos Zapatero and by the Director of OSALAN, Pilar Collantes. The prize was received by TALGO’s Manufacturing Director, Roberto Martínez Espinosa, who thanked OSALAN for "the prestige given to TALGO with this Award".
