MTorres to play significant role at the manufacturing of the empennage in the Airbus A350 program

MTorres is playing a significant role in different areas of the empennage in the Airbus A350 program. We are proud that AIRBUS trusted us again to accompany it in this new contract which confirms MTORRES capacity to provide flexible, complete and superior support to its customers.

The different contracts, where MTORRES equipment will be present, encompass, the Horizontal Tail Plane assembly at Stade, the Vertical Tail Plane at Getafe, as well as the means for manufacturing the Section 19.1.

In addition and finally, MTorres will deliver complete assembly facility for the Section S19 at Getafe.

MTorres supporting the aeronautic industry through innovative solutions

MTORRES is uniquely positioned to provide new and world class manufacturing tools to effectively supply the aeronautic industry.

The new, FDH, Flexible Drilling Head -5 axis drilling crawler robot, is a portable and autonomous drilling and riveting stand alone robot. Its principle is to provide a lean and cost effective solutions for drilling, and riveting large panels minimizing the Capital investments.

We remain very impressed of the quick acceptance of the market of this new solution.

Currently, already 6 units have been contracted by Airbus, for the program A380.

Two of those have been already delivered and are on production test phase.
