LOIRE SAFE delivers a 30.000,kN-Tryout hydraulic press to the German customer ALLGAIER
Last modified 02-08-2010
The Uhingen-based company ALLGAIER has equipped its toolmaking facility with a 30.000 kN LOIRE SAFE tryout press, thus creating the basis for producing and testing large forming dies with unit weights of up to 60 tonnes and 5.000 x 2.500 mm. dimensions.

The press has been manufactured with front moving bolster, upper cushion., lower cushion, blanking dampers, active parallelism control, etc……
ALLGAIER bought LOIRE SAFE press for responding to developments in the automotive industry, which now demands large body dies as well as dies for high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel materials from its suppliers.
The LOIRE SAFE tryout press, which features the latest technology, is one of the largest die tryout presses, not only in Germany but also Europe-wide.
New high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel materials minimise weight and maximise strength in state-of-the-art vehicles. Processing structural components made from these materials on forming presses is a demanding task in which toolmaking plays a key role. Production-ready dies have to be made available as quickly as possible, while forming die tryout is a time-consuming procedure and, therefore, a major cost factor.
ALLGAIER will therefore continue to rely on high-performance press technology to further enhance tryout effectiveness and, as a result, increase its competitiveness in the field of die production.
