This new solution, backed by Lantek’s track record spanning more than 25 years in the market, is defined as a system that is quick to implement, flexible, powerful and easy to use, equipped with the latest generation technologies for performing tasks related not only to production monitoring, but also to work planning, plant supervision and the analysis and data logging of output, amongst others.

From the perspective of production monitoring, Lantek Manager therefore has a series of advanced tools to make it easier to locate parts depending on different criteria. Accordingly, users have access to real-time data on a product’s status (pending, underway, nesting, completed…), with everything being managed in a graphic and intuitive way, providing information on the development of the production process.

Furthermore, Lantek’s new MES allows simplifying the operations related to task planning by managing priorities. Taking into account a machine’s workload, users can streamline the issue of production orders and the generation of CAD/CAM tasks. Lantek Manager is designed to cater for all kinds of production launches, from those planned according to an ERP to those generated by importing geometry files or importing them from the actual database.

Regarding those processes framed within plant control, it should be noted that this new system has the option of viewing the workload in the workshop, and therefore allows a flexible approach to the modification of the tasks assigned in order to make the most of material resources, machinery and labour, amongst others. Now, the office is in a position to allocate and reserve materials for a specific project and prioritise certain tasks. What’s more, Lantek Manager can be connected to the various data gathering devices in the workshop, and thereby allow recording real times and the actual use of materials for each nesting process and manufacturing operation, which in turn will mean greater productivity and major savings.

Elsewhere, Lantek Manager also permits a comparison to be made between estimated and true costs for selected production orders, making a detailed assessment of the same, as well as of associated products. This means the company has a powerful tool for establishing the most competitive prices, as it knows the true costs and any deviations there might be for each product.

Last but not least, Lantek has included tools for analysing the manufacturing area, providing users with the option of checking the consumption of material pending, the progress made by each production order, the costs incurred and workloads. Furthermore, Lantek Manager includes an option for the advanced management of the production data log.
