As a culmination to the International Machine Tool Fair CIMES in Beijing, IBARMIA inaugurates a delegation in Shanghai, an objective pursued by the manufacturer from Azkoitia in the last years.

IBARMIA has been active in the Asiatic giant during the last decade, counting with a considerable amount of machinery installed in factories of big multinational corporations as well as in local industries. During 2012 a significant number of machines will be delivered and installed, making China a strategic destination.

China has reached leading positions in the production and consumption of machine tools, however, IBARMIA’s customized solutions, backed up by the reliability and precision of the equipment, have found a place in the biggest market in the world. The machining centres of fixed table and moving column, of 3 or 5 axes, and the solutions to machine big circular pieces are IBARMIA’s product range for the ever more demanding Chinese customer.

The office managed by the Asia Pacific Area Manager, with more than 10 years experience in the company, both in the technical and sales fields, counts with two Chinese field sales representatives with wide experience in the market, and a service engineer to give technical support to the IBARMIA customer network in China.

Furthermore, IBARMIA is a promoting member of the cooperation project “+China”, sponsored by the AFM to support the technical requirements both in installation and after sale service of their customers.

With these activities IBARMIA wants to strengthen its presence in a market of huge importance, consolidating sales in the sectors where its already present and penetrating in new sectors currently in development in China. The base in Shanghai will be the platform to cover the whole ASIA-Pacific Area.
