Last modified 22-09-2010
The Spanish fixed track material manufacturer, Talleres Alegria, invested in a new induction heating installation for increasing its competitiveness in the high speed turnout market.
Since the high-speed service is being deployed worldwide, the technical requirements in tracks are becoming more and more strict. As a new European Standard on forged rail transitions is being prepared, Talleres Alegria trusted GH Group to update its production capacities in order to offer their customers the latest technology and best quality. The installation allows the normalizing of all forged blades and the head hardening of the high-speed ones. The main features are the traceability to production records and the versatility depending on the process to apply.
GH Electrotermia S.A., based in Spain, is the headquarters of the GH Group, a leading worldwide supplier of turnkey induction heating solutions for industrial heat treating, forging, and many other applications. Since 1961, The GH Group has installed over 4,000 systems in Europe, Asia, and America.
