#BIEMH2012 Ik4-IDEKO presents a 3 axes laser ablation machine - Hall 1, stand C-08 D-09
Dernière modification 24/05/2012
IK4-Ideko technological centre will be presenting a machine which works on any engineering material without having to make any change in the optical course, at the forthcoming BIEMH 2012.
Ik4-Ideko has announced a new laser ablation machine whose main novelty is three wavelengths without the need to make any change in the optical course. These are Ultraviolet (355nm), Green (532nm) and Infra-red (1064nm).
These characteristics mean all kinds of materials can be worked like: metal, ceramics, polymers or glass, among others. According to the technological centre, one of the sectors which could most benefit from this new tool is the medical (dental, optical, orthopaedic). It also aims to be useful for the: moulding, aeronautic, automotive or renewable energy sectors.
The three axes laser ablation machine is designed to work with pulsed laser in picoseconds. The ultra-short picosecond pulses (15x10-9s) enable high quality operations with an average power of 25W to 1MHz repetition frequency and a spot diameter on the 15µm focus.
