The jury members for the INNOVAE Award for business innovation were Andrés Zabara, Technology Manager of the CDTI, Gonzalo Garnica Esteban, Manager of the Associated Organisations and Companies Department of the CEOE, Miguel Ángel Juan Bello, President of the Valencian Association of Innovative Enterprises, and Pedro Nueno Iniesta, Lecturer at the IESE Business School and President of the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai.
M. Torres was founded in 1975 in Navarra. It currently has other centres in Murcia, Madrid, Soria, the USA and Germany. Its initial activity was the manufacture of machinery for the paper industry. It has since diversified and now uses its own technology to manufacture equipment for industrial automation, composite processing and wind turbines. The company has a strong presence in the aeronautics sector, and is involved in the sector’s major projects.
