The Machine Tool sector is busy preparing for this new edition of the Congress, which has been held biannually since 1976 and is organised by INVEMA, the technology unit of AFM, the Machine Tool Manufacturers Association of Spain.
San Sebastián will be once again the venue for this forum geared towards machine tool manufacturers and users who want to see first-hand all the latest technological advances and new developments that will enable them to increase their competitiveness by improving machine performance, energy efficiency, precision and delivery deadlines.
Precision and Ultra-precision, Innovation Management, Information and Communication Technologies for Machine Tools, Eco-design and the Advantages of Industrial Research for Cooperation are just some of the topics that will be debated during the three days of the Congress.
New features this year include the presentation of poster type communications to complement those already made at the round table debates, and a new researchers’ Forum where university students will read their doctoral theses, and which aims to attract young graduates to the world of manufacturing technologies.
