IBARMIA, awarded the National Prize for Design and Innovation at the 27th BIEMH in Bilbao

IBARMIA’s ZVH 55/L3000 model was the winner of the National Prize for Design and Innovation in Machine Tools and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies in the category of chip-removal or forming machine tools.

IBARMIA, awarded the National Prize for Design and Innovation at the 27th BIEMH in Bilbao

The ZVH EXTREME Series 5.axis travelling column machining centre exhibited by IBARMIA at last edition of the BIEMH turned out to be the winner of the 10th edition of this prize, in which aspects related to the following criteria were valued:

- Criteria involving design, formal aspects, communication and sustainability.

- Ergonomic and safety criteria.

- Technological and innovation criteria.

In particular, IBARMIA’s candidature stood out for how safety was integrated from the design phase, the ergonomics in use and in maintenance and the functionality of the machine. In short, for bearing in mind the future user of the machining centre right from the start.

This award endorses IBARMIA’s record of offering its clients the most advanced technology with an attractive, functional and ergonomic design.
