The open doors week that Fagor Arrasate organized from January 23rd to 27th has finished with a big success and the visits have been many more than expected. During the week it was shown the new stamping system named WAVE LINE- a continuos robotized press line- that permits a dramatic increment of production comparing with the conventional press lines. The new press line that has been show will be installed very soon in the factory that Volkswagen has in South Africa.

During the week, we were honored with the presence of numerous experts and top directors of companies as important as Ford, VW, Seat, Audi, BMW, Gestamp, Magna, AIC, Estampaciones Rubí, Voest Alpine, Bushan Steel, CDW, General Motors, Magnetto, Sitech among others.

Among the people we had the privilege to meet were Mr. Bernabé Unda, Minister of Industry of the Basque Goverment; Mr. Francisco Riberas, Gestamp Automotion’s President , Mr. Dietmar Mommendey, Audi’s Purchasing Director; Mr. Pedro Delgado, E. Rubí’s CEO; Mr.X.Ortueta, AFM’s President; Mr. J.M. Aldekoa, Mondragon Corporation President; Mr. E. Wagner, BMW’s Purchasing Manager and many others that this short notes prevent us to mention.
