Through this agreement, IZAR undertakes to donate 5% of the profit from the campaign it will be running for its customers from June to September to Caritas’ “GRASSROOTS SOCIAL ACTION” programme.

This programme provides support for people or families suffering from exclusion and with insufficient resources to cover basic needs, and it is based on three projects: Reception, accommodation and clothing.

“At a time when Spain, and civil society as a whole, is going through an extremely difficult situation,” says Carlos Pujana, “we can see that unemployment is sky high, with more and more people falling victim to social exclusion, including groups who had never been in such a situation before”.

IZAR’s managers reflected on this and came to the conclusion that those who are lucky enough to hold onto their jobs can and should do something to help the less fortunate.

“We love doing business with people we share values with, and this is a good occasion to set those values to work,” Carlos Pujana says.
