Training is one of the strategic pillars sustaining progress and growth in the machine tool sector.

Sectorial training:

• Fomenting lifelong training in the sector and attracting the necessary funding: Scheme contracted with Confemetal.
• Diagnosis of the sector’s key competencies: Plan for developing core competencies.
• Enhancement of management competencies and skills: Agreement with the Basque Government.
• Coordination of the activities of the Elgoibar Machine Tool Institute, through participation in its Governing Bodies.

Transfer of educational technology:

• Boosting the creation of Proschools, a partnership for setting up training centres in developing countries.
• Support for management in Proschools, as well as in the centres CSMC Instituto Hispano-Chino in Tianjin (China) and MSI Instituto Hispano-Malayo in Kulim (Malaysia).
• Support for Proschools in the definition and achievement of new projects in educational technology transfer.
