IBARMIA NEW MULTI-TASK MACHINING CENTRE WITH FORK-TYPE HEAD AND PALLET CHANGE AT EMO MILANO - HALL 5, STAND C10

28 September, 2015

IBARMIA will present its new machining centre on T-shaped bed, the THR 16P MULTIPROCESS, at its Stand C10-D07 in Hall 5 at the Milan Fair.
All the machine elements have state-of-the-art technology, highlighting:

The new high dynamics fork-type head, with high stiffness thanks to the dual support of the main spindle housing. The rotation (-45º/+135º) is executed by means of torque motor mounted directly on the axle, achieving greater precision and accelerations.

The main new-generation spindle (HSK A-100) reaches 12,000 rpm, with 203 Nm torque and 74kW power in S6. It incorporates air-oil lubrication of bearings, and orientation and blocking of tool position for turning operations.

The rotating work table acts as a positioning table for milling operations and lathe head for turning operations. It reaches 500 rpm and admits a load of 3000 kilos in milling mode.

The pallet changer integrated into bed, permits rapid and accurate table changes.  It is possible to prepare the next job on the external table during the machining time on the interior table. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with a manual rotating load/unload position with indexing every 90º.

The new Heidenhaim iTNC 630 permits the simple and intuitive programming of operations in turning and milling mode, visible on its high-quality 19” screen.

The extensive strokes of its axes, X=1600 mm, Y=1300 mm, Z= 1500 mm, enables parts measuring Ø 1600 mm and 1450 mm high to be housed.

Model THR 16 is also available with single table or with multiple-pallet feeder, as well as with Fanuc or Siemens control.
