FAGOR ARRASATE IS AWARDED BY ACERINOX TO SUPPLY A NEW CUT-TO-LENGTH LINE

Fagor Arrasate has a huge know-how in processing stainless steel.

Fagor Arrasate has been awarded by Acerinox to design and supply a new cut-to-length line to be installed in one of its facilities. Acerinox is one of the most important manufacturers of stainless steel all over the world.

The new cut-to-length line will be able to process stainsless steel starting from coils of up to 800 mm and thickness in the range from 0.3 to 1.2 mm. Coils can weigh 10 tons. The line will be able to cut up to 86 blanks per minute.

Stainless Steel Cut-to-Length Lines have to pay special emphasis in the levelling and stacking processes.

The installation will include a system for loading coils into the uncoiler, a.c.controlled uncoiler, peeler, pinch rolls, centering device, paper recoiler, crop shear, 6 high leveller with interchangeable cartridge, paper and film application device, rotary shear and stacker. It is controlled by a powerful computerized system.
