Personal data and privacy
Data provided by website's users on the different forms included in it will be included in one or several data files, which are the responsibility of AFM, whose postal address is included in the same document. These files are inscribed in the Spanish Data Protection Agency with the number.
This data shall we used exclusively for the purposes established in the procedure or action in question: for example, commercial information on products or services offered by AFM's member companies.
In the case of the forms for contacting the AFM member companies, the data included in these forms will also be sent to the company the user has chosen to contact as well as to AFM. AFM will legally require all its affiliate companies to comply with the same levels of security and the same treatment of data conditions expressed herein, as well as those conditions legally required by Law.
Such data shall at no time be treated or transferred to third parties without the clear consent of the person involved, or in the circumstances provided for in Articles 6.2 and 11.2 of the Ley Orgánica (Public General Act of Parliament) 15/1999, dated 13 December, concerning the protection of personal information (B.O.E. Official Spanish State Gazette, no. 298, dated 14 December 1999).
In compliance with the stipulations of the abovementioned Public General Act of Parliament (Ley Orgánica 15/1999) the source of such information may, at any time, exercise his or her rights, of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition by sending a letter to the Head of Data Processing, Spanish Association of Machine Tool Manufacturers, Parque Tecnológico de San Sebastian, Paseo Mikeletegi, 59, 20009 San Sebastián, Spain, including together with the signed request for access, rectification, cancellation or opposition, a certified photocopy of his or her DNI, the name and surname, address of the applicant, and date of the request.
AFM promises to maintain security and privacy measures regarding these files, as stipulated in this Law.
