INVEMA, the Machine Tool Research Foundation, is a body whose origins date back to 1968. It was set up by AFM and the member manufacturers, and entrusted with rendering services to do with Technology, Quality and Industrial Safety and the Environment.

Its main services are as follows;

• Technological Plan for the Sector

QUALITY:

• Sectorial Quality Plan for Machine Tool manufactures.
• Quality Plan for Machine Tool suppliers

INDUSTRIAL SAFETY:

• Sectorial Safety and Workers' Health Plan (Integration of Safety from the design stage, Safety and Workers' Health Management systems, Adaptation of Work teams. 

ENVIRONMENT:

• Sectorial Environment Plan (Economic-environmental diagnosis work, promotion of implementation of ISO 14000 and good environmental practice).

• Miscellaneous information to do with Technology, Quality, Industrial Safety and the Environment.
