In March 2006, AFM created a special team to help its members to better target the aerospace industry. The main idea is to make our specific production for this industry more visible.

The aerospace industry has become an important customer of our products, since both the main builders and their subcontrated manufacturers do purchase Spanish machine tools.

Our companies focus on both structure parts and on engine parts, providing solutions for spars, ribs, petals, flaps, fuselages, and also for frames, impellers, blisks or landing gears.

Among a wide range of specific applications, we can highlight some processes, such as the blade tip grinding, gantry milling, drilling, riveting, laser welding, computerized assembling, micro-finishing and flow-turning.
